Quseir or El-Quseir is known as the jewel of the Red Sea of Egypt

Quseir or Al-Quseir or El-Quseir is a port on the Red Sea in Egypt , this city was known in Ptolemaic times as the White Harbor, and has a long history as one of the major ports of the Red Sea.

Today, Quseir is a quiet resort with sandy beaches, clear waters and coral reefs. The town's narrow streets are lined with colorful bazaars which have a decidedly Bedouin accent. An ancient caravan trail, to Qift in the Nile Valley, leads from al-Quseir through the mountains, passing several Pharaonic and Roman sites.

The coastal town of El-Quseir holds that indescribable cachet a few paradisiacal holiday destinations still share nowadays.

Immersing yourself in the narrow streets of Quseir, wandering between the coral-block buildings, tasting the fresh fruits and vegetables sold by the local vendors in the town's traditional market and strolling along the waterfront are almost spiritually renewing experiences.
Over the past few years, El-Quseir has become a top diving destination in the Red Sea of Egypt.
